Prior to acting, I worked as a registered nurse in the field of mental health and addictions for 41 years. My work experience included providing lectures, consultation, developing staff skills related to therapeutic interventions and facilitating therapy groups, particularly with people who have experienced interpersonal trauma. As such, I have been able to translate these experiences into roles such as group therapist, teacher and caring grandmother.

Working with teams in my profession has prepared me to be an effective member of the cast and crew on the sets that I have been fortunate to be part of. This has been reinforced by being called back to work with some production companies multiple times, e.g., Efran Films, Prime Capitol Entertainment and Union Film Group Inc.
